Using charcoal and heavy negative space, she portrayed societal expectations on women and the seemingly ever present male audacity. Each piece in this collection focuses on a phrase or comment almost every woman has heard at least once in their life. Using that as fuel, she created a world where a woman can be as petty, angry, and vindictive as she would like to be. Like true women, these torturous or murderous acts are carried out cleanly and with a smile.
